The economics of solar power have been debated for decades.  There are many different aspects to solar power that affect this economic calculation.  This section will address the different areas that need to be considered to arrive at the expected cost/benefit ratio for a particular project.   I will use the experience of my own system to illustrate the issues and show potential solutions to the many problems.  Once my system is installed I will track my production and consumption and compare my actual savings over time with my calculated savings estimates.
